چکیده

We consider the response of a holographic magnetized bottom-up theory to an external electric field. Our main purpose here is to study the effect of modifying the scale factor so as to remove the sudden flattening in the quark-antiquark potential in order to have a confining theory for any given values of B. We see that, apart from an enhancement in the chance of pair production, changing the scale factor to the new one does not alter the general trend of the response to electric field as B changes. However, the critical behavior by raising the magnetic field in the longitudinal case is removed by refining the scale factor.
